PROBLEM

A multinational media and information firm needed cover in a role that had already changed 4 times in a year as a result of internal business changes.
The lawyer had the additional job of building relationships, with the sales team in particular.The work involved contributing on tenders, customer issues and general legal support.
We received a brief on a Friday and our lawyer started within a week of the client making initial contact with us.

SOLUTION

We offered the client a choice of three candidates. They chose a lawyer for her technical skill and confidence. She worked full-time, on-site and on the client’s IT system. After 3 months the client asked to extend the contract. We proposed an alternative solution; a part-time (3 days per week) on-site lawyer on a month by month basis.
The Obelisk lawyers very quickly understood our processes and adapted accordingly. We were sorry to see them go!
