Introducing our guest speakers

Oliver Searle
Head of Corporate (Legal), Kantar
Oliver is a commercially focused senior lawyer with experience leading teams to deliver solutions across international, high value and complex matters. He is currently leading Kantar’s Corporate legal team.
Prior to joining Kantar, Oliver worked at Chevron as Senior Counsel after making the move from private practice working at leading firms including Clifford Chance, Charles Russell Speechlys and Hogan Lovells.
Shortlisted for the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards (Europe) 2021 in the category ‘Innovation in Legal Operations In-house; Oliver has been awarded the ‘Innovation Trailblazer Award In-house’ at the UK Legal Innovation awards, is a member of the City of London Corporation’s LawTech Sounding Board (established to promote the use of technology in the UK’s legal sector) and led the team driving digital transformation within the global Downstream, Chemicals and Midstream legal team at Chevron.
Oliver is passionate about advancing technology and innovation within the legal industry, an advocate for Legal Design having founded an initiative with Linklaters to promote Legal Design to the not-for-profit sector and is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Jessica Rivett
Operations & Transformation Executive
Having made the leap from law to business, Jess is an operations expert with experience spanning law firms, global corporations, and start-ups.
As a litigator Jess worked for leading organisations including Linklaters, Olswang and NewsCorp before moving across to Newscorp subsidiary Dow Jones where she worked across the business operations and office of the Chief Executive functions of the company. In this role she developed expertise in running workshops and gathering associated data for transformation projects including the opportunity for automation in the risk and compliance team, and the future of the physical office.
Most recently Jess has been GM of a legal tech start up addressing the resourcing challenges of legal teams and law firms, is qualifying as an Executive Coach and has a particular passion for advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal sector.
