Obelisk Named UK’s #1 Legal Recruitment Agency in Inaugural 2026 LinkedInfluencer Index
London, June 25, 2026 —
Obelisk has been named the #1 recruitment agency in the inaugural LinkedInfluencer Index, while founder and CEO Dana Denis-Smith OBE secured the #2 ranking among individual recruitment consultants, cementing the company’s position as one of the UK’s most influential voices in legal recruitment on LinkedIn.
Produced by TBD Marketing in partnership with Codex Edge, the LinkedInfluencer Index is the first ranking dedicated to measuring LinkedIn performance across the UK legal recruitment sector. Rather than focusing on follower counts alone, the index evaluates how agencies and consultants use LinkedIn to build visibility, engage audiences and establish market authority over a sustained 12-month period.
The inaugural report analysed:
- 3,783 legal recruitment consultants
- 411 recruitment agencies
- 82,479 original LinkedIn posts
- More than one million combined likes and comments
- Twelve months of LinkedIn activity from
The findings also reveal a significant opportunity across the sector. While thousands of consultants and agencies were tracked, only 2,460 consultants (65%) actively posted at all on LinkedIn between June 2025 and May 2026, while only 264 agencies (64%) posted. This highlights a substantial gap between maintaining a profile and consistently building a professional brand.
- Legal consultants actively posted 65%
- Legal recruiting agencys actively posted 64%
Obelisk topped the agency rankings, reflecting its long-standing commitment to thought leadership, flexible legal talent and meaningful engagement with clients, consultants and the wider legal community. Dana Denis-Smith’s individual ranking of #2 further recognises her consistent contribution to conversations around legal innovation, flexible working, diversity and the future of the legal profession.
Being named the UK’s number one legal recruitment agency in the first LinkedInfluencer Index is a fantastic achievement. At Obelisk, we believe that sharing expertise, championing innovation and driving industry conversations creates real value for our clients, consultants and the wider legal community.
Unlike traditional rankings based solely on size or revenue, the LinkedInfluencer Index measures influence through a combination of consistency, engagement and audience impact, providing a new benchmark for how recruitment businesses build trust and visibility in the digital age.
The recognition adds to a growing list of industry accolades for Obelisk, which has established itself as one of the UK’s leading providers of flexible legal talent while continuing to champion innovation, diversity and new ways of working across the legal sector.
