Our client, the legal services arm of a major household name professional services company, are looking for a lawyer to work with one of their local authority clients with a project to set up Investment Management entities which will manage the combined assets of several local authority pension schemes.
This would be full-time for an initial 2 months with possible scope to extend for a second phase.
They are looking for a mid to senior level lawyer with core experience of institutional investment management and all the associated agreements – IMAs, depositary/custody, administration, ancillary services agreements – as well as potentially some experience of private markets and how PE investments are structured (i.e. AIFs).
This role is inside IR35.
